Previously working for Wink Design & Events I had the opportunity to participate in brining Prom Night for the Prom of Champions to life. But this year was something way more special! I had the opportunity to host on the red carpet next to Randi Rousseau from WDSU and Kenny Lopez from News with a Twist. We had an Asian theme this year so why not have an Asian host also! While all the limos and buses arrived we had DJ Jolly Judd playing all the beats and lion dance entertainment from Van Hanh Lion Dance Team. I just learned those things are lions not dragons... I'm embarrassed that I am Asian and didn't know that. All the champions came looking their best in their gowns and tuxedos all donated from Johns Tuxedo and Alyce Paris. Champion Square was decked out all in red and gold designed by Wink Design & Events. All the decor was sponsored by different vendors in New Orleans. They had a candy bar filled with hundreds of sweets and goodies and all the champions danced the night away. Lets also thank Glen and Gary Smith from G. Smith Motor Sports, they pretty much make this event possible every year.

I'm so thankful for organizations like the Prom of Champions. The organization is dedicated to providing amazing events throughout the year to New Orleans area patients battling cancer and blood disorders, as well as support for their loved ones.
